Alejandro Zacco & Cyrena Drusine
Alejandro began studying jazz dance and Argentine tango at age 12. He studied tango with some of the most renowned tango teachers such as Miguel Angel Zotto and Pepe Avellaneda. He began dancing professionally in 1995 and worked for NHK TV as an Argentine Tango coach and regular dancer. He also worked for various TV stations as a choreographer and special guest. Cyrena began dancing at age 8 when she entered the School of American Ballet, she studied there until age 18. She also studied jazz, modern, hip-hop, West-African and salsa. Performed with The New York City Ballet and with the Pacific Northwest Ballet. Studied tango with renowned masters such as Rodolfo Dinzel and Francisco Forquera. She began dancing professional tango in 2006. They toured throughout Argentina and around the world.
Alejandro and Cyrena were dancers and choreographers in NTV Dancing With The Stars, Tango Pasion, BBC The London Ball, The Buenos Aires Tango Festival, The New York City Tango Festival, MX TV The World Tango Festival in Japan,The Boston Tango Festival, The Company Esquina Carlos Gardel and others.
They worked as principal dancers in tango shows in Buenos Aires, such as Tango Porteño, Bocatango, Complejo Tango, Candilejas, Taconenando, El Querandi, Argentinisima 40 años, Bien de Tango, Tango viaje al sentimiento. They also performed in luxury hotels, such as the Four Seasons, Intercontinental, Westin, Hyatt, Sheraton as well as in important theaters, milongas and on TV in Argentina and around the world.
